Frequently Asked Questions:
Below is a list of common questions with answers. If you feel there is a question/answer missing, please contact the FSU Help Desk.

1. How do I setup a personal web page?
You would start by setting up an account on this server. Once you have created an account you will be able to post (or store) any web page files you want. You should use a popular HTML editor like Nvu, Dreamweaver, or Frontpage to edit your files.

2. How do I modify or delete my account?
Please contact the FSU Help Desk to create a ticket to have your account modified (including adding MySQL DB, or MS Access DB) or deleted.

3. How do I transfer files to my Web space?
You must use a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) program. Many are free or offer evaulation periods and can be downloaded from http://www.download.com. You must use the following information to connect:

Host Name: studentdev.frostburg.edu
User Name: Your FSU E-Mail Address
Password: Your FSU password (single-sign-on)
